Cadbury Creme Egg Banana Bread Puddings Recipe

You can buy or make your own banana bread for this pudding, either way will provide a beautiful result.

What you need

3 thick slices of banana bread, cut into 1½ cm pieces
24 CADBURY Mini Creme Eggs, halved

5 eggs, lightly beaten
1¼ cups milk
1¼ cups thickened cream
1/3 cup caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon caster sugar, for sprinkling

Make it

  1. ARRANGE the banana bread pieces and 2/3 of the Crème Eggs into 8 ramekins or pots.
  2. WHISK together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar and vanilla then pour evenly into each ramekin over the chocolate and banana bread then top with remaining Creme Egg.
  3. PLACE the ramekins into a baking dish then pour boiling water around the ramekins to come half way up the sides. Bake in a moderate oven 180°C for 20-30 minutes or until set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
