Cadbury Chocolate Yo-yo Biscuits Recipe

Short and sweet, these are a lovely chocolate treat!

What you need

180g butter, softened
1/3 cup icing sugar, sifted
1½ cups plain flour
2 tablespoons CADBURY BOURNVILLE Cocoa
2 tablespoons custard powder

125g butter, extra, softened
¾ cup icing sugar, extra, sifted
¼ cup CADBURY BOURNVILLE Cocoa, extra, sifted

Make it

  1. CREAM the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in sifted flour, cocoa and custard powder. Roll rounded teaspoon amounts into balls and place on greased baking trays. Lightly press the top of each with a fork.
  2. BAKE in a moderately slow oven 160°C for 10-15 minutes. Cool on the tray for 10 minutes before lifting off onto a rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container until required.
  3. CREAM together the extra butter, sugar and cocoa to make a smooth icing. Sandwich together pairs of biscuits with icing. Store in an airtight container until required.
