These blondies are perfect for packing and sharing.
What you need
150g butter, chopped
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1½ cups flour
1teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
100g CADBURY Milk Baking Chips
150g banana bread, cut into 1cm pieces
110g CADBURY Milk Baking Chocolate, melted, for drizzling
- COMBINE the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan and stir over a medium heat until melted and smooth. Cool for 10 minutes.
- WHISK in the eggs and vanilla, add the sifted flour, baking powder and salt, stir until well combined. Stir in the chocolate then fold through the banana bread. Pour into a greased and base lined 28cm x 18cm slice pan.
- BAKE in a moderate oven 180°C for 25 minutes or until cooked. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Drizzle liberally with chocolate and allow to set before slicing. Store in an airtight container until required.
