Waffles with Cinnamon Chocolate Sauce
Make this great little sauce for a quick and warming dessert!
what you need
1½ cups milk
1 cinnamon stick
220g CADBURY Dark Baking Chocolate, broken into pieces
½ cup condensed milk
8 Waffles, for serving
4 scoops ice cream, for serving
Chopped macadamia nuts, roasted, for serving
- SLOWLY heat the milk and cinnamon stick and bring to a boil, remove from heat and stand for 15 minutes.
- REMOVE cinnamon stick, bring to boil again, remove from heat, add chocolate and stir until melted. Add condensed milk and keep warm.
- SANDWICH the waffles together with ice cream and place onto serving plates. Pour over the Cinnamon Chocolate Sauce, sprinkle with nuts and serve immediately.
